Cvlt: One of Us

The player takes the role of The Enlightened One, moving into a new town, Clochard’s Hole to amass followers to form a cult.

The player takes the role of The Enlightened One and has moved to a new town to spread the good word of the High Chief Magus: Worker of Wonders, aka the Monolith. Members of the cult refer to themselves as apostles. The player’s main task is to recruit new followers to the cult. The more followers the player has the higher the reputation within the religion will be. The player’s ability to recruit followers is determined by how much influence the player has. As the brainwashed member of a cult the player is completely unaware that another life exists and believes that the non-believers in this world are needing enlightenment. The game area is a town called Clochard's Hole and its surrounding region. This area will act as an entry point to the game and guide the player on how the game works.
